I’m a freelance lifestyle journalist based in New York, where I now live with my husband and two young children after spending twenty years in the Washington, D.C. area. A graduate of Georgetown University and the George Washington University Law School, I worked in publishing, travel advising, and the legal field before turning to writing full-time. My travel experiences have taken me to over 50 countries, including stints living abroad in France and Morocco. I also hold a Wine Spirit & Education Trust Level 2 Award in Wines.

My writing has been featured in outlets like Forbes, Parents, Southern Living, Hotels Above Par, Washingtonian, and Bethesda Magazine. You can also find me behind the camera producing sophisticated, audience-driven social media content as a contributor to Travel + Leisure.

When I’m not writing or traveling, I’m most likely scoping out the newest restaurant in town, trying my hand at a recipe, or rocking out on a SoulCycle bike.
