Everything I’m Packing for a Weekend at Twin Farms.

In less than ten days, we are headed back to one of our favorite winter destinations, Twin Farms. We’ll be celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary and I can’t wait for a cozy weekend in snowy Vermont. We’ll bring our ski attire with the hopes of snowshoeing to a mountainside picnic and hitting the downhill and cross-country trails at the farm. But we’ll also plan to spend a good chunk of our time inside—playing cards or puzzling by the fire, sipping cocktails at the redesigned Twiggs pub, and devouring exquisite multi-course meals.

One of the things that I love about the farm—and there are many—is its casual nature. While I was disappointed to read about its new dinner reservation policy (ugh!), thankfully they have not changed the “smart country casual” dress code. We can show up to breakfast in sweats and dine in jeans and sweaters for dinner. The emphasis is on guests feeling actually casual and relaxed, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

With that said, scroll on to see what’s going in my suitcase next week.

Canada Goose Marlow Coat

With temps in the high 20s, a true puffer is essential. I love the feminine lines of this one with the optional belt. The length is neither too long nor too short. And the brownish color is a perfect complement to my largely neutral wardrobe.

Acne Studios Knit Wool Gloves

A cozy pair of oatmeal colored mittens to keep my hands warm while we roast marshmallows for s’mores by the firepit.

Acne Studios Knit Wool Beanie

A coordinating beanie to keep my ears from freezing.

Inuikii Classic Suede Boots

How gorgeous are these Inuikii boots? I love this street-style approach to a winter shoe that can handle the snow. Plus, the fur lining can be rolled up or down depending on your look.

On Cloudnova Sneakers

A classic black and white pair that I can wear from the gym to a meal and everything in between.

Stems Blocked Rib Socks

Love the contrasting cuff of these color-blocked socks.

Janessa Leone Jasper Baseball Hat

A classic black cap that goes with everything.

Plush Fleece Lined Leggings

I’m leaving my beloved Aligns at home in favor of these fleece-lined leggings for some extra warmth.

Citizens of Humanity Charlotte Jeans

My favorite pair of jeans this season, hands down. Love the high-rise, straight leg, mid-weight and ankle length with the button fly. The lighter wash gives off a casual vibe and they go with everything.

French Connection Magda Fair Isle Turtleneck

French Connection has some seriously cute turtlenecks this season and I’m digging the wintry fair isle print of this one. Plus it’s marked down to $73!

Jenni Kayne Cashmere Fisherman Sweater

Honestly, it’s hard to pick just one Jenni Kayne sweater to bring for a weekend in the country. But I’ve narrowed it down to the cashmere fisherman style for warmth and versatility.

Jenni Kayne Shearling-Lined Farmhouse Jacket

Just added to my cart this morning because how can you go to Vermont without flannel?! This shacket epitomizes the “smart country casual” vibe at the farm.

Mother The Long Sleeve Slouchy Tee

The perfect cut off tee to wear solo or layer underneath a sweater or the farmhouse jacket.

Bloomingdale’s Cashmere Hoodie + Jogger Set

When you see me puzzling in the main house by the fire—cocktail in hand—this is what I’ll be wearing.
